On Thursday, May 17th 2018, at 0930 hours Forest Lake Police were called to a wooded area
behind the address of 91 11th Ave SW on a report of a deceased found body by an individual
searching for mushrooms.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner has identified the body as Mark Kurtz who was
reported missing on April 23rd from his Forest Lake area home.

There is no evidence of foul play, no threat to the community, and we are not searching for any
suspects.
