Overview:

Guard Monitoring & Alert Service (GMAS); a state-of-the-art Security Solution for G4S. GMAS
provides a simple, efficient and comprehensive way of integrating the overall Monitoring and
Alert System for G4S, which is so vitally important for this esteemed organization.

GMAS is a one of a kind Solution, which uses multiple platforms, incorporates Mobile SMS
technology with internet technology and hence paves the way for an entirely new brand of
Corporate Solution in Bangladesh.

In order to completely understand the current scope of operations and future possibilities of
GMAS, I would like to present here the detailed technical aspects of this integrated system in the
following sections –

1. New Short Code Allocation: Application for news short code to BTRC
2. Connectivity with Mobile Operator: Getting connectivity with telco through third
party vendor

1. New Short Code Allocation
To allocate a new short code need to submit an application to BTRC with service details.
After approving the application BTRC will give a license against an available short code.

2. Connectivity with Mobile Operator

To establish physical connectivity with mobile operator, need to connect with third party
vendor (Telnet) as they have direct connectivity with operator. I prefer minimum 128 MB
bandwidth for each operator.

3. Hardware Installation

4. Submit Service Proposal to Mobile Operator

5. Software Development for SMS

To operate SMS transection (Receive & Submit) with mobile operator need to develop a
SMS gateway software at G4S end.

7. Control Panel
To control the full GMAS operation need to develop a web based control panel which is
control by administrator. The panel will be design to control guard (add/edit/delete),
control post (add/edit/delete), view report, control authorized body (add/edit/delete) and
others.

8. Technical Support
I always at hand to provide prompt solution to any kind of technical problem encountered by
G4S personnel. With a satisfactory manner I will provide the technical support for a specific
period of time.

9. On Demand Changes
GMAS, version 1.0, is fully scalable and highly flexible. It can incorporate any and all kinds of
customization as per requirements of G4S. I will develop and produce any kind of new
features to the existing solution, within the given deadline set by G4S, in a satisfactory
manner. The GMAS system should be a complete integrated tool for the successful security
operations of G4S.
