Friday 1st Praise God at the start of a new month for His continuing Tuesday 12th Pray for
2th Pray for all our home groups meeting this week. Thank God
faithfulness, both in our own lives and that of the fellowship.
Saturday 2nd As you are out and about, take time to listen to the birds,
breathe in deeply the fresh air, look at the trees and flowers. Praise God for
his beautiful world, for the gifts of sight, smell, hearing and touch to
appreciate His awesome creation.
Sunday 3rd Pray for our service today and for the children as they go out
to JAM. Pray that any visitors will feel welcomed and that we would all have
open ears to what the Lord wants to say to us.
Monday 4th Pray for our brothers and sisters in Easterhouse, Elgin, and
Ellon Baptist churches, as they minister and share God's love within their
local communities.
Tuesday 5th Pray for the King’s Meadow project today. For Ranald as he
liaises with the council and submits our plans for the site. Pray for God's
favour over the project.
Wednesday 6th Pray for Ian and the Deacons as they meet this morning.
Remember too 'Singing at Dovecot' this afternoon, pray that God will bless
this time together.
Thursday 7th Pray for the joint Building Group meeting this evening. Pray
for wisdom and a sense of Gods leading as they discuss the latest
feedback, plans and proposals for funding.
Friday 8th Pray for the Grants fundraising group – Lindsey, Lyn and
Richard – as they plan and put together grant applications. Pray too for
Jan, Pat and all those involved in planning and organising local fundraising
events.
Saturday 9th Psalm 100. Praise God, however you are feeling,
remembering His love, His faithfulness, who He is and who we are in
Christ.
Sunday 10th Pray for our service this morning and for JAM. Pray for all
those involved in Vicky's Tearoom meeting this afternoon, both volunteers
and guests, that all would have a good time of fun and fellowship.
Monday 11th Pray for our brothers and sisters at Erskine and Falkirk
Baptist churches and Forres: The Lighthouse Church.
for these opportunities to meet together to learn, pray and support each
other.
Wednesday 13th Pray for the children who come along each week and
their families. Pray for the leaders and helpers in JAM. Ask God that He will
bring in new leaders and helpers to join the existing team.
Thursday 14th Pray for our BMS mission partners today. Pray for Victor
and Caroline in Guinea. Ask God for good health for them and that He will
bless the work they are doing within their local community.
Friday 15th Pray for our nation at this time of uncertainty. Pray for our
Governments in Westminster and Holyrood and for all involved in local
government.
Saturday 16th Isaiah 42:16. Thank God for this promise and that we can
always trust him. Confess times of rebellion, doubt and times when we
have rushed ahead in our own strength.
Sunday 17th Pray for our service today and for JAM. Remember our
Prayer Day event being held today. Come along if you are able to share
together in prayer and worship.
Monday 18th Pray for Ian this week as He plans for the service at the
garden on Sunday. Pray for our brothers and sisters in Fort William,
Fraserburgh and Galashiels.
Tuesday 19th Pray for the work of Scripture Union amongst young people
throughout the UK. Pray as they seek to share God's Good News they will
do so in ways that engage and make sense to their young listeners.
Wednesday 20th Pray for Barbara and the ongoing work of Vision
Ministries. Pray for all those working in the Kibera slum as they seek to
share God's love and concern in very real and practical ways.
Thursday 21st Pray for the King’s Meadow project today. Pray for all our
neighbours on Cleland Avenue. Join with us tonight as we gather to pray
as a fellowship for the project and our mission on the South side.
Friday 22nd Pray for our brothers and sisters in the other churches in
Peebles. Pray for those meeting at St Joseph's, as they are still waiting for
their new priest. Pray for the priest from Penicuik as he covers not only his
Parish but also Peebles and Innerleithen.

Saturday 23rd Pray for Ian and for all involved in the service tomorrow.
Pray for good weather. Thank God for this opportunity to invite the
community to come and meet with us, to hear the Good News of the
Gospel and to see and talk through our plans for the site.

Sunday 24th Pray for our outdoor service and BBQ today. Ask God to
bless this opportunity to meet up with and share with our neighbours, pray
that it would be a time of deepening friendships and an opportunity to share
the Good News of Jesus.

Monday 25th Pray for those meeting in Garioch, Gerrard Street and
Glenrothes Baptist churches, and for the work and mission of these
churches.

Tuesday 26th Pray for our ministry to young people as we think about
how we can share the hope and Good News Jesus brings with those teens
who use the garden area. Pray that God will give us a fresh approach to
mission as we seek to reach out to a generation who has no church

Wednesday 27th Take time today to sit quietly with the Lord. Pray as you
feel led.

Thursday 28th Diversity meets tonight. Pray for a time of fun and
fellowship for all those who go along.

Friday 29th Pray for your neighbours today. Thank God for them, ask Him

to show you how you can share His love and Good News with them.

Saturday 30th Pray for our Flea Market event this afternoon. Pray that it
would not only be a fundraiser but also an opportunity to share friendship
and plans with the local community.
