Your affiant is currently employed as a Special Agent (SA) with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and has been so employed since January 2015. Since January 2015, your affiant has participated in investigations concerning violations of Title 18. 2. On June 28th, 2017, the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office executed a state arrest and search warrant atthe residence of Gary Daniel Albro located on 1915 Zion Hills, Seguin, Texas in the Westem District of Texas, The state arrest and search warrant were executed on the same day. During the execution of the search warrant, Deputies observed a firearm in plain view, located in the master bedroom on a night stand next ¢o the bed. Albro was detained without incident in the living room and positively identified. Additional firearms located include, & rifle next to a large gun safe in a coat closet in the living room, two firearms in an exterior storage unit and 10 firearms in the living room closet ina safe. The house has three bedrooms, but only the master bedroom appears to be used as a bedroom. Albro was the sole person inside the main residence. 3. As a result of the state search warrant at the residence of Albro, on 1915 Zion Hill, Seguin, Texas, the following items were recovered: © Ruger, Model LCP, .380 caliber pistol, SN: 371028305, Loaded with 7 rounds (one in the camber). Master bedroom on top night stand next to the bed i, Two additional magazines located with 12 rounds © Marlin, Model Glenfield Mod 69, 22 caliber rifle, SN: 24492277, not loaded, next toa large gun safe in a coat closet in the living room Ten additional firearms inside the gun safe Approximately 10,000+ rounds of assorted ammunition ‘Various altered personal documents (Passport, Social Security Card) ‘Suspected stolen mail from various victims Suspected fraudulently obtained identifying information belonging to approximately 300+ victims «Large amount of travel documents stubs, internarial travel, itineraries) 4. Other items located, but not seized, include survival gear, various books, magazines, and other sms, These items include a yellow colored container bearing a “Danger Radioactive Material” label which reportedly contained an amount of Uranium and an article titled “Effective radiation dose in adults” which appeared to show various effective dosage amounts of radiation inadults. A number of books and articles with titles such as, “Prison Killing Technique, Blade, Bludgeon, and Bomb”, “Professional Killers: An Inside Look", “Techniques of Burglar Alarm Case 5:17-ci-00570-OLG Document 1 Filed 06/30/17 Page 3of3 Bypassing”, “Sox Related Homicide and Death Investigation”, “Death To Dust: What Happens ToDead Bodies”, and “Dr, Lung’s Complete Guide To Torture: Theatre of Hell”. Also located were a large number of apparent pomographic videos of which the titles/cases indicated were of sadistimasochist nature 5. Albro was read his Miranda rights by Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office Deputies. Albro stated he did not want to speak with Deputies. Later the same day, US Secret Service read Albro his Miranda rights. Albro agreed and understood his rights. During the interview, Allbro stated he used an assumed name (DBA) of “Daniel Walker” currently. 6. On June, 30%, 2017, Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office provided GCSO report 17-06265, which contained an interview of Albro. During the interview, Albro stated he has been living. at the residence 1915 Zion Hill for approximately 6 years and rents the residence from “Daniel Walker”. Albro stated that “Daniel Walker” is the land lord, and comes by the Property every three to four months to collect rent and check on the property. 7. An ATF Interstate Nexus examination reveals that the Ruger, Model LCP, .380 caliber pistol, ‘SN: 371028305, and Marlin, Model Glenfield Mod 69, .22 caliber rifle, SN: 24492277, were not manufactured in the State of Texas, and therefore traveled in interstate and foreign commerce. 8. Albro was previously convicted of the Federal Felony Bank Fraud on August 3", 1993 in the US District Court Southem District of Texas County, in case number 1:93-CR-00093-1, USA v. Albro. A copy of this judgement recovered was located during the search of Albro’s residence, 1915 Zion Hill, Seguin, Texas. 9. Based on the above facts, your affiant believes there is probable cause that Gary Daniel Albro a convicted felon, was in possession a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. §922(¢\(L).
