was born on March 30th, 1990 in Valdosta, Georgia. Rhett married Lauren Gregory, now Lauren
Akins. They met in kindergarten, went to the same church camp, and dated in high school. When
Thomas and Lauren had trouble having children, they adopted a baby from Uganda. During the
adoption process, they found out that Lauren was pregnant. Now, Rhett is involved in
Outnumber Hunger. This organization fights hunger in America. Thomas Rhett deserves to be on
the United States Postage Stamp because he is an amazing country singer-songwriter and has

songs and singing them too. He’s well-known for his songs, ‘Marry Me’, ‘Die a Happy Man’,
and ‘Drink a Beer’. He said, “It is completely a God thing that I am here today, because for the
first 17 years of my life, I never thought I would do music professionally.” Rhett thought he
wouldn't do music as a career, and now he’s won awards and has many number 1 hits.
