1. Recognitions-
Vinemont Elementary- Archery Team finished 4th in the state Archery Competition
Hayden Robinson- 2nd in the State 3D Archery competition (elem. division).
Lily Hastings- 4th in the State Archery competition with a 273, a personal best (elem. division).
Nationals-Vinemont Elementary shot a 3101 (team best performance) and finished 21st out of 171
teams (top 12%). Kayden Henderson shot 288 and finished 3rd in the Elementary Competition.

Russell McDonald, a drafting Technology Student, on being named The Career Tech Student of
the Year. Ethan Burson & Hunter Kaser – other nominees
Cullman Area Technology Academy took all of the awards in the Cosmetology Competition @ Bevil
State. Maria Cortes (1st Place) has won 1st Place in that competition for 3 years in a row.

12. Approval of request from Good Hope Elementary School to pay Joey Overton
$2,600 to clean, prep and wax tile floors this summer, to be paid by local school
funds -
13. Approval of request from Good Hope High School to pay Patrick McDonald a
supplement of $750 for coaching archery, to be paid from local school funds -
14. Approval of request from Holly Pond High School to pay Mike Bates a
maximum of $2,500 for mowing and field maintenance on the athletic fields, to
be paid by local school funds –
15. Approval of the following requests from Welti Elementary School, to be paid by
local school funds:
Joey Overton paid $800 to refinish the gym floor this summer
Brian O’Rear to mow and weedeat school property $200 per time
16. Approval of the following requests from West Point High School, to be paid by
local school funds:
Don Farley paid $1,500 for summer 2018 field maintenance and mowing
Randy Jones paid $1,200 for Athletic Director 2018-2019
17. Approval from Hanceville Elementary to pay the following teachers a stipend
of $50/day for two days in the summer to have a kindergarten camp for
incoming 2018-2019 kindergarten students. Paid by Local funds-

28. Approval to pay select teachers a stipend for district approved summer work
and/or training, as per schedule, to be paid by state, federal or general funds-
29. Approval to pay the Chalkable designee at the local school a stipend of $1,000
paid by the local school and should include the creation of a master schedule
for the 2018-2019 school year that reflects the correct GPA credit, grad credit,
weight, and course titles/codes. Transcripts for the seniors of 2018-2019
should reflect correct GPA credit, grad credit, weight and course titles/codes
per board policy.
31. Approval of the request from Cullman County Extension Office to use a
Cullman County School Bus to transport 4-H Students to Columbiana, Alabama
for Summer 4H Camp- 2 dates
Misty Gaines, certified CCBOE bus driver will be driving Date: June 4-6, 2018
Dawn Holmes, certified CCBOE bus driver will be driving Date: June 25-27, 2018
Jay Conway & Raydonna Sims will be chaperones for both dates
Cullman County Extension Office is responsible for all expenses for both dates
32. Approval of request to provide transportation for “The friends of FCA” during
the week of July 9-13, 2018-
All expenses including fuel and driver pay will be paid by FCA
The FCA group will use 5 buses along with our certified drivers to transport
participants to venues around the city of Cullman during the week.
