ZAKHIR WIKAN ANADIYA: The Effect of the Use of Information

Management System Based on Information Technology on Work Motivation, Job
Satisfaction and Working Culture at Junior High School of Tarakanita

This research aimed to: 1) know the influence of the use of information
systems based on information technology on work motivation; 2) know the
influence of the use of information systems based on information technology on
job satisfaction; 3) know the influence of the use of information systems based on
information technology on working culture, 4) describe how the use of
information technology influenced work motivation, 5) describe how the use of
information technology influenced job satisfaction, and 6) describe how the use of
information technology influenced working culture among the teachers and the
educational staff.
This study can be categorized as mixed method with explanatory
sequential design. The research population was the teachers and the educational
staff from Junior High School of Tarakanita Foundation totaling 41 people. The
population research was used in case of the quantitative approach. The sampling
technique was using purposive sampling consisting of 2 (two) teachers and 2
(two) educational personnels. The data were collected by using questionnaires and
interview guides. Data analysis techniques was using simple regression and
interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman.
The research findings showed that 1) there was an influence of the use of
information systems based on information technology on work motivation; 2)
there was an influence of the use of information systems based on information
technology on job satisfaction; 3) there was an influence of the use of information
systems based on information technology on working culture, 4) the use of
information management systems based on information technology met the needs
of teachers and education personnel in facilitating their work, 5) the use of
information technology-based information systems made the work more efficient
and quality, 6) the use of information technology-based information systems
provided various ease and accuracy in the work, thus it had changed the values of
the work. It had affected on the change in attitude towards work to be more
positive such as the punctuality in the completion of work, and the improvement
of the work ethic among the teachers and the staff.
