The peer assessment is based on the performance within the Community of practice
during the time of the internship 2018.

Name of the feedback receiver: Jakob

Name of the feedback giver: Zalán

Functions effectively in an international and intercultural environment

Engagement and sensitivity

-> acknowledged the cultural differences and identity of other COP-members and took this
into account within the two peer-assessments

Jakob was always respectful with others and took his fellow teammate’s opinion and ideas into
account. He is a powerful leader, a good communicator and he is able to collaborate within a
group efficiently. He has a strong background on the field of effective functioning with foreign
people and we could learn a lot from him regarding to this competence.

Interculturalism
-> Has been able to deal with intercultural differences in a positive way within the COP.

In my opinion, even though we are an international group, there were no cultural differences at
all. Due to our group projects during our studies so far, we easily found a work flow within the
COP in the beginning of our internships. Jakob could easily adapt the situation that we had to
work together as a group online and he always had a respectful attitude towards his
international colleagues. He listened to the other’s ideas actively and his feedbacks were
valuable as well.

Collaborates in teams and networks

Collaboration
-> has clear thoughts on how he/she will actively contribute to common goals of the host
organization
-> has planned how to create acknowledged value for the host organization

During the intensive weeks before our internships, we divided roles and responsibilities in order
to have a structure in our COP. Jakob was the “knowledge worker”, he had the role to collect
relevant articles and share with others, moreover he collected and scheduled our assessment
forms and made them clearer. He was always aware of his obligations and actively collaborated
with his fellow group mates to realize our common goals.

Networking
-> collaborated in such a way that the practical experience within the host organization is
used optimally
-> created a win-win situation by sharing issues and knowledge, views and experience with
the other COP-members
Since Jakob was the knowledge worker, he did the most to share data and keep us updated
regarding our COP progress, other cases connected to school as well as individual internships.
In my opinion, he is the most experienced member of our group when it comes to teamwork
and professional identity. Jakob brought his practical professionalism from his internship into
the COP as well, therefore we could gain knowledge from his experiences and apply them
during our internships later on.

Profiling

-> Ensured actively significant interest in the brands, products, services and solutions of the
COP.
-> propagated the developed products and services of the Cop to the professional field.

Jakob showed proactiveness throughout the COP meetings besides his knowledge worker role
during the weeks. Regarding our final product, Jakob highly contributed to be able to create it
and he kept solving issues around the product with which he conquered some major problems
in this process.
Sports Professional identity

Reflection and sport awareness

-> reflected critically upon the own professional and occupational identity within COP-
meetings and during the internship.

Jakob always approached every COP duty in a professional way, and he always aimed to
update and inform, therefore include his fellow teammates in his responsibilities and
establish the best result possible. In my opinion, his strongest talent is his leader
abilities when it comes to teamwork. It was good to have a group mate with
professional leading and collaborating skills.

Professional attitude
-> adopted a respectful attitude towards peers, took responsibility, worked professionally
-> strived to develop the expertise both personally as in the COP.
-> had a professional added value in the two peer-assessments
-> developed his/her professional identity
-> demonstrated a proper grasp on the professional role of a Sports Professional.
-> visibly invested time and effort in establishing new functional collaboration.

Jakob has great communicational skills and he could also applied them within the COP on an
online platform. He was respectful, helpful and social with us and since he had a leading role in
the group, he was responsible for his teammates and their roles as well. I think, working in a
COP group improved his professional identity and he definitely added value to the COP by
maximizing the knowledge worker role.
