Contractor Emery and Sons will start construction on Monday, April 23 in the River Road
area. Eugene Sand and Gravel will start construction on Monday, April 23 in the Santa Clara
area, midway between Prairie Road and Highway 99 North and it will continue to run west
toward the highway. John Hyland will start construction on Monday, April 23 in the southwest
corner of the Arrowhead and Irvington Drive intersection. Marion Construction will start
construction on Monday, April 23 north of the Skipper and Labona Drive intersection.
Contractor, Emery and Sons, will start construction on Monday, May 14 with a second
construction team at the intersection of Skipper and Labona Drive and continue east on
Skipper. Contractor, Eugene Sand and Gravel, will start construction on Monday, April 14 with a
second construction team working on Irvington Drive at Revell Drive and continuing east
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will fund this project. To ensure that federal
and state requirements are followed, the contractors, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer and the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will inspect the project often.
