After removal of the stock muffler, install the

Varex muffler in the reverse order. Be sure to
use the included muffler band once it has an ex-
haust hanger welded to it by the professional
mechanic (if needed). The Varex muffler can be
rotated in any direction to gain better clearance.
Make sure to properly tighten all flange bolts.

Once the muffler is mounted, begin routing the

wire harness utilizing the spare wheel drain hole.
The harness can then be connected to the Varex
motor harness at this time.

The other end of the wire harness can be run

through the interior of the car and connected to
the control harness. The control harness can
either be mounted in the cabin or safely stowed
in the center council (see pic).

Connect the power plug to the in car 12

volt accessory outlet or cigarette lighter
socket. Turn the vehicles AC power on to
test the control unit. The green light on
the control unit should light up when the
buttons on the remote control are pressed.
Next, with the power on, go to the rear of
the vehicle and visually check that the valve
(s) can open and close by operating the re-
mote control. Your installation is com-
plete.
