PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY  
I am determined, organized and flexible in a classroom. I have gotten out of 
my comfort zone since I started volunteering. I enjoy working with students 
and keeping them self motivated. I have developed and learned skills 
throughout my experience of being in a classroom. I have taught individually, 
in groups and the whole class. So far I have rolled out a business project for 
second graders, taught how to read the clock, count money and many others. I 
have the ability to problem solve and make decisions wisely. I get creative 
when it comes to classwork and I encourage students to do their best and not 
give up. I am flexible with all students and give them my full attention equally. 
Communication is key and I have been better at it. All the hard work is 
rewarding in the end and I am pleased with the outcome.

EXPERIENCE 
Shearer Elementary School, Napa Ca​ - Teacher Assistant/ Volunteer 
 
Volunteering at Shearer has had the biggest impact in my life. I attend 4 days a 
week. I have created and taught engaging lessons and activities for students. I 
have learned and developed new skills I didn’t think I could accomplish. Being 
in the classroom gave me a better insight of teaching and classroom 
environment. I take inconsideration feedback from the teacher. I used to think 
that teaching was easy but now I know that it isn’t and it can be difficult. I am 
comfortable in the class and the students are too. I enjoy coming in everyday 
and I always look forward to it.  

Northwood Elementary School, Napa ca​ - Internship 

 
I go to my internship every Tuesday. I help students with their classwork, 
lesson planning and helped the teacher whenever she had something for me 
to do. I participated and watched students during P.E and recess. The teacher 
has full control of the classroom and it is really cool. She is organized and gets 
the students attention easily.
