Feedback: Name: Claudia Iglesias Arriaran, Spain, Administration & ACE project

During the internship at Wellbeing, Health and Sports Department at the University of
Vigo, Jakob has acquired many general professional competences.
Regarding the general competencies, due to his active participation in the Happy Go
Running event, he has collaborated in teams and networks, communicating his aims
effectively and presenting new ideas to develop the event. He showed an open-mind and
keen interest in the intercultural exchange. The competencies acquired at his home
University are noticeable because he pursues a methodical and evidence-based approach
that has helped us to consider changing some of the working methods developed in our
office. I believe that he functions effectively in an international and intercultural
environment, due to the fact that our office is composed of Galician, Spanish, Polish and
Turkish people, where learning to cooperate with different cultures and languages is one
of the most important rules. He has also demonstrated to be a very responsible person,
fulfilling all the tasks effectively and helping his co-workers to do so as well.
He has participated managing the European project for sports implementation named
Active Campus Europe. He has assessed and advised new strategies and policies
concerning sports and exercises.
