Activities to be done during the course

The course consists of mainly four activities.
A. Course Journal: All the participants are required to maintain a course journal
which has to be submitted at the end of course.
B. Mentoring: Each participant will be assigned one or two groups to mentor.
The mentees are participants of FDP 201x who are teamed to create an OER
project. The mentors must have at least two interactions with the mentees,
during the duration of the course. Through the interactions the mentors will
have to clarify the doubts of the mentees regarding the technological or
pedagogical aspect of the course.
C. FDP Design: Groups of three or four participants will have to design a
MOODLE course for a topic covered in FDP 101x or 201x based on the TPACK
model.
D. Evaluation on mentoring: The participants will have to evaluate their
mentoring using Kirkpatrick model. Based on the rubrics provided, mentors
will have to design a survey to be filled by the mentees. The survey must
measure the reaction (usefulness of interaction, perception of understanding,
and perception of engagement) and learning (knowledge about OER activity,
and knowledge about OER rubric) of the mentee.

Grading
a. Knowledge Quizzes ( 30% weightage towards overall grade) – These will be
based on the course content.
c. Reflection Quizzes ( 10% weightage to overall grade) based on your
participation in the discussion forum each week

extension resources.

from FDP 101x or 201x, using MOODLE (based on TPACK model). The
designed courses will be peer evaluated.
e. Evaluation of Mentoring Skills ( 10% weightage to overall grade) using the
surveys designed by the mentors and filled by the mentees.

f. Course Journal (10% weightage to overall grade) submission made at the end
of course.
