made prior to its coal deposit formation, making
each of them millions of years old.
During the 16th century, a seven-inch long
iron nail was found encrusted in a rock
formation tens of thousands of years old within a
Peruvian mine. In 1844, another iron nail
encased in stone was discovered in northern
Britain, while a piece of quartz found in
California in 1851 also contained an iron nail.
In 1869, an oxidized remnant outline of an
iron screw was found embedded in solid granite
after being exposed by Nevada miners. At least
eleven other nails have been found in Cretaceous
rock, dating as old as 70 million years ago, long
before the discovery and use of iron on Earth.
At an Oklahoma power plant in 1912, an
embedded iron cup was exposed after splitting a
large coal lump. Deep within an Oklahoma coal
mine in 1928, a 300 to 400 feet long concrete
block wall was found encapsulated within a coal
seam at a depth of almost two miles. The blocks
were described as twelve-inch cubes, with their
internal cores filled with gravel.
While these anomalous artifacts, along with
numerous others, do not conclusively prove that
ancient aliens visited Earth long ago, they do
require new explanations for our planet's archaic
past. The intriguing Elder Gods theory, as
