Chocolate - Peanut Butter Brownies

Makes 8-10 Brownies

Ingredients (Base):
1 package Wheat- Free Market Brownie Mix
2 large eggs
¼ cup warm water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup butter
¼ cup dark chocolate chips

Ingredients (Peanut Butter Filling):

2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Virtue Sweetener
½ cup natural peanut butter (smooth)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9x5 inch loaf pan (for thick
brownies as pictured) or an 8x8 inch pan.

In a medium bowl, blend brownie mix, eggs, water and vanilla. In a small
bowl, microwave ¼ cup butter with chocolate chips approximately 45
seconds or until chocolate has melted. Blend well and add melted
chocolate to brownie mixture.

Prepare peanut butter filling by melting the 2 tablespoons of butter and

sweetener together in the microwave or on the stove. Once melted, stir in
peanut butter until smooth.

Add half of the brownie batter to the bottom of the prepared pan, being
sure to spread the batter out evenly. Pour 2/3 of the peanut butter mixture
over the brownie layer followed by the remaining brownie mixture. Pour
the remaining peanut butter filling on top and using a butter knife, swirl
the peanut butter into the brownie mixture.

If using loaf pan, bake for 25 minutes. If using 8x8 inch pan, bake for 18-
20 minutes.

Allow to cool before cutting.
