I.

Rationale:

As malnutrition among pupils of Jose B. Puey Sr.

Elementary School has become a thread and impeding
variable for the success of providing quality education to
our clientele, Gulayan sa Paaralan Program is the
innovative way to combat it. As stated in Administrative
order no. 15 series of 2011 an amended Guidelines on the
Implementation Of PROGRAMANG AGRIKULTURANG
PILIPINO (GULAYAN SA PAARALAN) in which the state should
empower its constituency by enhancing their capability to
produce their own food through adoption of various means
of vegetable growing.

Thus, this action Plan is created to continue the

program and support the feeding program and enhance
the strategies for the success of this implementation.
Likewise, involvement of the people in the community
makes a difference as they are the prime mover and
important party for the sustainability of this program.

The highlight of this program is to make a demo- farm

of organic urban vegetable garden in school since the
school is located at the poblacion which will serve as model
farm of the community as their basis in establishing their
own gulayan in preparation for the Gulayan sa Balay
Contest of all 4 P’s beneficiaries. Also, practical application
of learning of pupils learned competencies in EPP-
agriculture subject.

This action plan includes the following, rationale, title

and objective, situational analysis, cost estimate,
implementation of the project, project benefits, impact
and risk, and monitoring and evaluation.
