S/390 Async, the pair suspend might occur with SSB=CC14 reported.

1. True Copy Async or True Copy for S/390 Async,
2. Multiple paths exist between MCU and RCU,
3. Side file/dirty of RCU is in the overloaded status continuously.

(2) Timeout when TC Async

Item Description
Contents When using True Copy Async or True Copy for S/390 Async, RCU Side file/Write Pending was
in the overloaded status due to an inadequate configuration. As a result, the MCU Side file
became overloaded and the host I/O was timeout.
Conditions The problem might occur with all conditions met.
1. True Copy Async or True Copy for S/390 Async,
2. RCU Side file/Write Pending is in overload status (60%) due to an inadequate configuration.
(If setting the configuration of True Copy Async/True Copy for S/390 Async by following the
Guideline, the problem might not occur.)

(6) Update Copy Degradation during TC/TC390 Initial Copy

Item Description
Contents Host issued sequential I/O on a volume that was in TC/TC390 initial copy, slot busy occurred
since slot reserved by initial copy. Therefore, sequential host I/O had to wait until the initial
copy ended to have slot released. As a result, response performance for host I/O degraded.
Micro-program modified so that the update copy will be prioritizes in this case.
Conditions A host issues sequential I/Os (update copy) on a volume that is in TC/TC390 initial copy.

(7) Incomplete Initial Copy of TC390 Async

Item Description
Contents When the TC390 Async initial copy was in progress, the pairs receiving update I/Os were
suspended. In the same CT group, the copy progress rate of the pairs in the initial copy remained
at 99% and the pairs failed to become the Duplex status.
Conditions The problem occurs with all conditions met.

2. Volume suspend range setting when creating pairs,
3. Fibre link between MCU-RCU,
