FIITJEE, a pioneer in the field of Engineering Education, is serving students across the country for more than two decades
by helping them make their dreams a reality. Since 2010, we have been observing several students studying in Tamil
Nadu State Board have surpassed other Board students to become the toppers of the State, in IIT JEE and other
competitive exams. For instance, Selvam V (Top scorer in JEE Main and JEE Advanced) & Kiran Krishnan H (One of the
five students in TN who secured centum in physics in 12th board exam) are students who emerged victorious in the
academic year 2016. By looking at this consistent performance of State board students, FIITJEE has realized their
immense potential and understood that the only thing which is required to make them emerge victorious, is to offer them
quality teaching coupled with continuous motivation by streamlining their efforts in the right direction. Thus arose an
awakening to empower the students of the State Board (Samacheer Kalvi) schools to realize and unleash their latent
talents.

FIITJEE Regional is a life changing opportunity for all Tamil Nadu State Board / Samacheer Kalvi students to get in to IITs
(Indian Institute of Technology) or NITs (National Institute of Technology). This initiative has also yielded very
encouraging results to strengthen our belief that with proper orientation and guidance in the right direction, the State
Board students are in no way less prodigious.

This has been amply proved by our very own student R. Krishnakanth. He is a Samacheer Kalvi Student from the very first
batch of FIITJEE's Regional Integrated Schooling Program. He has bagged the distinction of having topped Tamilnadu
State in NTSE Stage 1 (02nd Nov 2014). He has gone on to become an NTSE Scholar by acing NTSE Stage 2 in 10 May
2015. He has also cleared KVPY stage I held on 1st November 2015. Further he has become a KVPY Scholar by acing
KVPY stage II and cleared IITJEE with All India Rank 462 and presently studying in IIT, Madras.

All these years, Students of Samacheer Kalvi / Tamil Nadu State Board seeking admission to Anna University and other
affiliated Institutes had been preparing very hard for their board exams. But a slight dip in the marks affects their chances
drastically, as the number of aspirants is too large and the seats are limited, thus increasing the cut off to as high as
99.5% for good courses in Top institutes in Tamilnadu. As the students are already working hard for their Board
Examinations, which means majority of their preparation for JEE-Mains (earlier known as AIEEE) is already done. If they
start preparing a bit more earnestly keeping this in the mind, right from the beginning, securing admission into NITs / IITs
will be a cake walk for the students of Tamil Nadu State Board. Hence the only thing that they need to do is enhance the
chances of their selection to NITs / IITs by channelizing their preparation and keep preparing under the right guidance
from the very beginning.

FIITJEE Tamil Nadu Talent Reward Exam (FTNTRE), which is especially for students of Samacheer Kalvi Board is a
platform to help students of the state, to know their true standing at State level. Based on the performance in FIITJEE
Tamil Nadu Talent Reward Exam (FTNTRE), students will also get to know their Rank Potential Index (RPI) / Success
Potential Index (SPI) which will help them in understanding their current ability and how they can bridge the gap between
their current potential & future aspirations. Students will also get suggestions to plug loopholes so that they can plan
their study schedule and improve upon their shortcomings in order to perform to their optimum on any Exam day.

Students of Class going to IX, X & XI in 2018, securing a Rank in Top 20 in FTNTRE will get a Certificate of Achievement.

Students must appear in both Papers (Paper 1 & Paper 2) to become eligible for Program Fee Waivers (if applicable). Fee
Waivers for FIITJEE Programs (if applicable) will be decided on the basis of combined performance in Paper 1 & Paper 2.
To avail scholarship, student must also score above the minimum cut-off marks in each subject (subject total of both
papers). A student has to appear in both papers in order to be considered for selection.

a maximum of 18 Students (5 Students each from class VIII & IX, 8 Students from class X) and FIITJEE Tamil Nadu Talent

off from 25% to 100%. This potential of the student

In addition to this, good performers will also get

The above-mentioned scholarships are valid only for students joining the programs specially meant for Tamil Nadu Board Students (FIITJEE

10 in State board schools across Tamilnadu, STRD aims at identifying the best talents, starting with an Aptitude test. The
best performers are appreciated with awards and scholarships. The test gives all the candidates a sharp perspective of
their test-preparedness at the present level and scope for improvement to realize their success potential. Furthermore,
the follow-up Academic Sessions with our erudite Professors and Career Guidance with Counselors will round up this
rare opportunity coming your way to steer your students towards bright academic careers.

As a first step in this drive, students
will have to appear for an Aptitude
Test. The Details of the aptitude test
are mentioned below. This Aptitude
Test will have questions from the
syllabus of their current class of TN
State Board syllabus. In order to
judge the inherent talent of the
students, questions will be thought -
provoking. There will be one test of
3 hrs duration in Mathematics and
Science of the present class and IQ.
During this academic session,
FIITJEE professors will demonstrate

can be tackled in multiple ways.

them think sharp. At the end of this
academic session, students will feel

discuss this goal map with students
