Product Description Chemseal - HI is a cement based, two-component, polymeric
surface applied protective paint- like coating.
Chemseal - HI combines a crystallization action and pore
blocking effect with excellent ability of special polymeric
additives to resist moisture penetration, reflect UV light
environmentally-aggressive elements and thermally-induced
surface cracks. Reduce thermal effect.

Application Details

Substrate Preparation Surfaces must be clean, sound, free from grease, oil and loosely
adhering particles. Blowholes and irregularities should be filled
with suitable repair products. Prewet absorbent concrete surfaces
before application of Chemseal - HI.

Mixing Stir component A (liquid) thoroughly before pouring into a clean
mixing container. Add component B (powder) slowly while
mixing continuously. Use low speed electric mixers (max.500
rpm) for 3 minutes avoiding entrapment of air. By adding the
powder in portions, the desired application consistency can be
obtained.

Application While the substrate is still in a wet condition, apply the first coat
by brush / roller and leave to harden. Apply the second coat as
soon as possible, after hardening of the first coat, to ensure
proper adhesion between layers.

Curing Keep Chemseal - HI moist for 24 hours and apply a mist spray
for another 48 hours to ensure its optimal development of its
protective characteristics.

Cleaning Application and mixing tools should be cleaned with water
while material is still fresh. Hardened material can only be
removed mechanically.

Safety

Precautions 1.
Accidental splashes to the skin must be washed off with
water and soap.
2. Accidental splashes to the eyes must be rinsed with clean
water. Seek medical attention without delay.
3. Skin barrier cream, safety goggles and rubber gloves are
recommended.
