The world of engineering is running fast forward. The things which are new today are already old tomorrow. For all that, the family
of the Euro-2000 is developing new functions, parameters, optional equipment and also new models all the time. Let us introduce
two new cash register models: the Euro-2000 Alpha; and the Euro-1000. These cash registers are the first16-bit portable cash
registers on the world market.

Euro-2000 Alpha
draws your attention immediately with its alphanumeric display with back lighting, which shows the
name of the products and warnings of any cashier operational error in the correct language and cha-
racter set. The alphanumeric display markedly simplifies both the operation and programming of cash
registers. Under the cover beats the highly efficient heart of the cash register – a 16 bit microproces-
sor made by Hitachi.
One of the significant features of this version, in comparison with previo-
us versions, is the ability of stock level control of each PLU af-
ter every operation. In this way you have an immediate
view of the stock level. The Euro-2000 Alpha allows
you to operate with 2 400 PLUs, which can be easily
expanded up to 10 000 PLUs.

computer. The text is shown on the al-

ters. The Euro-2000 Alpha provides
you with a wide range of optional
equipment such as a scanner, an ex-
ternal display, a keyboard wet cover,
a carrying bag and others.

Euro-1000
is the cash register totally suitable for
customers operating in small stores
where there is no need of a large number
of PLUs (market-places, swimming pools,
vegetable stores.....) and where a scanner
is not required. Under the cover of the
Euro-1000 cash register also beats a highly ef-
ficient heart – a 16 bit microprocessor made by
Hitachi.
The Euro-1000 hardware is based on that of Euro-2000
Alpha. Although this model is designed especially for small
stores, it is possible to operate with up to 1000 PLUs. The cash
register is equipped with a special rubber keyboard with dust and hu-
midity resistance.The keys have a modern elliptical shape and are color
coded. Euro-1000 also offers you external keyboard connectivity. With the ex-
ternal keyboard you can program all PLUs through the common PC keyboard and prog-
ram your cash register at any time according to your needs..

A beneficial feature for European countries is the ability to handle both Euro and national currencies and readiness for the
year 2000. These two features save you money as the new millennium knocks at your door.
Customers are also likely to appreciate the new feature of the 16-bit cash register, the thermal printer, which allows them to print
a customized graphical logo on each receipt. A helpful new use is going to be the printing of measuring unit abbreviations (kg,
cm, l, ...) on receipts, which will be appreciated by the customers.

The Euro-2000 Alpha cash register allows connectivity for the purpose of cash register networking. An individual cash register may
be connected to a PC in on-line mode. The stock level in the connected PC decreases automatically after the item is sold, allowing
an instantaneous review of all stock quantities.
The Euro-2000 Alpha cash register can work as both a fiscal module and a fiscal printer at the same time. This cost effective solu-
tion also allows you to continue sales in the case of an electricity failure as the cash register is supplied from a built-in accumulator.

Euro-2000 also handles the costly goods.

Thanks to its perfect performance the Euro cash

registers allow you to handle goods with a price
up to 10 million Euros. This performance makes
them suitable in an ordinary shop as well as for the
sale of a car, expensive machines and technical
equipment.

It is unbelievable that such small cash registers

are able to bill an individual purchase up to the
