not all the conditions HDD can be succeed converted in this way, if you've been following it step
by step and still not succeeded, I apologize if it can't help you, maybe your HDD is different

No, it is normal problem with RAW disks...look at comments, I am not the only one. You just, or
windows actually, cannot use chkdsk with RAW HDD's, that is it.

yes, this is fake. when he write chkdsk at 1:10, it writes file system is NTFS not RAW.
when i try it writes "CHKDSK is not avalaible for RAW drives"

I certainly played it from the beginning. There is a confusion between the title and the content. I
guess your hard-disk is not all raw. there are some partitons in your hard-drive and you can
easily solved your problem. Anyway, I solved it by finding another method.

Win 10 ? Right-click drive --> properties --> Security --> Advanced. Under the permissions tab,
there will be System and Administratorer. Now Press Add button and where it says Principal :
Select a principal you add the username of the system. There will be no suggestions so find your
username (by looking a the users folder C:\Users there will be a folder with your username on it.
Type this name into the textbox which you see when you open "select a principal". Click the
Check Names button to confirm that the user name is correct. Now you will choose permissions
via check boxes and press ok! After this you will have access to the drive (worked for me).

in this video, my HDD cases, RAW partition successfully converted Being NTFS format into Drive
"F:" with CHKDSK, but you must add access "Authenticated Users" It's two steps that you must
do.
if the whole your HDD is RAW Drive C: and D: move your HDD and operate on another computer.

maybe your previous HDD not format NTFS ?.
but in this case my other partition is HFS format and i can used command chkdsk and it's work
succesfully convert to NTFS.

i got what I could from using a recover software forgot the name, the only partitions I had was
HFS and NTFS, im guessing the problem happend from not ejecting and using it in and out of a
PC and Mac, I didnt get a lot of it back probably lost 500gb, from 2tb worth of stuff

Because if we pull, HDD sudden loss of power when rotating and cause abrasion to Disc.
Other causes of the shock on the HDD (such as accidentally falling HDD).

when I found the key "Without Software and no loss Data" I very exited, because I do not have to
backup data, software I tried can not backup a lot of data for external, so need to pay; the
software only detect there are all my files inside of it, but can not read.....
but when I tried your instructions, I found problems. 1. when I tried chckdsk (both in cmd
user and as admin user) it says "The type of the file system is NTFS.
Unable to determine volume version and state. CHKDSK aborted". 2. when
I tried look at properties at external harddisk (both from win explorer and
computer management), there is no securities section (I use windows 10)
only general, tools, hardware, sharing, previous version and customize.
even di cmd says file system is NTFS but when look at win explorer there
only blank and at computer management says RAW. So I cannot continue,
please help. thanks in advance

iT WORKED FOR ME....I ran CMD as admin, typed chkdsk /f F: and hit enter. (My hardrive just
happened to be a F: as well) You will have a space between the chkdsk and / and between
the f and F: You will see the same action as in the video happening in the CMD DOS box. In
W10 some other boxes popped up but hit enter to continue. Once CMD IS finished, try to open,
you should get the DENIED message as in video. Right click F: from File Explorer, go to
properties, select Security tab, in W10 it removed all other objects leaving only the Advanced
button.... click it. Now click ADD, new box appears, click SELECT A PRINCIPAL, then ADVANCED
button.... click FIND NOW button and the groups appear in a list. Select the group
AUTHENTICATED USERS from the list and click OK. You should now see AUTHENTICATED USERS
object name in the CHECK NAMES list, click OK again. Make sure to check all boxes to grant
BASIC PERMISSIONS . Click OK, you will now see it added to the list of profiles for Permission
Entries, hit APPLY. Make sure you type EXIT to close the CMD box, and close all other windows,
Re open File Explorer, click on the HDD you just fixed....you will see all your files.
