Foreigners can learn German quickly and thoroughly
through the German language courses provided by ASL.
ASL has had many years of experience in teaching foreign
students. Central to ASL is an internationally warm
atmosphere, whereby qualified and experienced teachers
provide a high quality of lessons for the student. In the
last 20 years ASL has made concentration on the needs of
the applicant and affordable fees the main aspects of
learning German in München.

Applicants may choose from the following courses

Intensive Courses
The Intensive Courses portray the main emphasis of
courses at ASL. They are suitable for all participants who
at a fair price and in the shortest amount of time want to
learn or improve their German. The five hour long daily
lessons lead to fast improvement and optimal success:
fluent and correct use of the German language is the
result thereof.
ASL offers year-round Intensive Courses from beginners
level to Oberstufe. Many participants learn German at
ASL from Grundstufe I up to DHS, many of them Au-
Pairs. Other participants have already learnt German in
their home countries and want to improve their
knowledge of the language.

Exam Preparation Courses
In the exam preparation Courses the participant will be
prepared and helped by professors qualified with the DaF
certificate, for specific exams that are necessary for a
foreigner to be accepted for entrance for further study in
Germany. Within eight weeks the participant will reach a
calibre in German language where they will be able to
pass the entrance exam for further study.
In addition to this, ASL also offers preparation courses for
different generally recognised German language exams,
with which the candidate can prove qualification in
spoken and written German worldwide.

Holiday Courses
Holiday courses combine the visitor’s stay in München
with learning and improving the German language. The
Vacation Course Small Group
8 – 12, max. 16 2–4
practical use of German in meeting others and living with
the host family is an important element of the Course.
Holiday Courses also specify in the improvement of
German for School and University use.
Courses for Schools and Universities
For the last 20 years ASL has carried out programs for
Scholars and University students, specifically those from
Europe. For example: Scholars from Italian and French
Highschools, College students from the USA or University
students from Japan together with their teachers and
professors are regular and impressed guests at our
School.
The program is co-ordinated to fit the wishes of the
participants and their lecturers during their stay.
Through a friendly atmosphere, qualified teachers carry
out language instruction and verbally accompany the
Students through their pre-organised cultural and leisure
activities.
Singular and Small group Courses
Singular courses are the fastest and most effective way to
learn German. They are planned for the participant to
reach a certain language goal in a specific time limit.
Through this way of teaching, the participant personally
chooses the course time, length per lesson, frequency of
lessons as well as how intense the lessons are.
Courses for small groups are ideal for interested
participants who, due to limited time or job related
reasons cannot attend the Intensive courses and who
want to improve their German knowledge quickly and
well. Therefore many International Companies whose
employees, despite limited study time, achieve the
necessary language requirements that their work
requires. Course prices and times are shared between
employees.
