3. All are invited to the Adventurer Club Graduation
Ceremony this afternoon, June 23rd from 5:00 p.m. to
6:00 p.m. The ceremony will be held here in the
Sanctuary.
4. Outreach to the homeless continues Sunday, June
24th. Volunteers are needed to serve meals to the group.
Parking is available behind the building at 696 Dundas
Street Ark Aid Christian Mission. If you can help, please
speak to Teresa Ferreira.
5. Adventurer Family Camping on July 1-5, 2018 (Sun-
Thur) at Camp Frenda. For details and to register, go

6. All four churches in London area will be having a Church
Family camp out at Fanshawe Conservation Area July
13-15. There is an entrance fee of $6.50 per car for
persons who will attend camp on the Sabbath only and
$94 for overnight campers. Licence plate number for
overnight campers must be given to Cliff Munro no later
than June 29th. Bring your food to share as always for
the campers there are 5 meals. For the ones that come
on Sabbath bring your dish to share fellowship lunch and

7. Pathfinder Fun Day on Sunday, July 15, 2018 (10 am-5
pm) at Boyd Conservation Area in Woodbridge, ON.

11. Vacation Bible School Xperience
Children four to twelve years of age are welcome to join
this year’s Vacation Bible School, “Miracles by the Sea.”
When: July 23-27
Where: London SDA Church
Volunteers needed: In order to make this event a
success we would need at least twenty volunteers
consisting of counselors and support staff. If you’re
interested in helping please contact Lucy Forsey at (519)
851-0104 by phone or email at lucyn4c@gmail.com.
Volunteers are required to have a vulnerable sector
check. The sooner you let us know of your intentions to
help, the more time you will have to complete all the
requirements needed to be able to work with children.

Celebration of our 60th Anniversary and Jamaica’s 56th

13. ELEVATE MEN'S CONFERENCE NEW DATE- Aug 24-
25, 2018: Due to major conflicts with other ministries &
institutional events, we are rescheduling the Elevate
Mens Conference to August 24 & 25, 2018. This
initiative will take place at the Toronto Markham Marriott
located at 170 Enterprise Blvd. in Markham. The early
bird registration fee is $45/person and includes Friday
refreshments and a lunch buffet on Saturday

Religious People Live Longer Self-reported attendance at
religious services is linked with longevity. Ohio State
University scientists have examined two samples of more than
1600 obituaries looking for religion, marital status and social
activities. They found religious people lived an average of 5.64
years longer than nonbelievers. When controlled for gender
and marital status the advantage was 3.82 years. Religious
values, prayer and meditation, and volunteerism may all help
contribute to this advantage.
