Sri Ramana Mandhiram

This is located at Chokkappa Naicken street exactly opposite to the South Chithirai street entrance, after
about 10 houses from the entrance.

Sri Ramana maharishi was born in Thiruchuzhi, about 80 kms from Madurai but he moved to his uncle’s
house here after his father’s death. This is the place where he got the famous “death (self realization)
experience” for 20 minutes. A sacred place to visit and meditate for everyone.

Sri Dhandayuthapani Swami Temple

The temple is located at the crossing of Nethaji road and West Masi street at about 500m South-West of
Meenakshi amman temple.
