Over the past 2 years, I have been working with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd.

At Tata
Power, I have been working on design, installation, operation and maintenance of their
networks, which has helped me understand the practical aspects of engineering. Besides this,
planning of yearly capital investment for capacity addition, so as to improve the health and
stability of the existing system, planning and monitoring of project activities, working in material
inventory module with SAP and prepare line of materials to maintenance site and much more.
My work has helped me understand the importance of leveraging technology to make business
decisions. Meeting strict deadlines, adapting to iterative requirement changes and coordinating
with different teams has instilled in me the confidence to handle stressful situations with
professionalism. Working with TATA has taught me the importance of customer satisfaction and
product quality; both of which are especially important in service sector where repeat business
forms a major chunk of revenue. These experiences have strengthened my desire, which
developed while organizing events in college and school and at work, to pursue a career in
management to become a valuable contributor in a company’s business and make right decisions.

Looking 5-6 years down the line my short term objective will be to excel in technological project
management responsibility in a multi-national technological firm.Such a role will help
experience working with core competent people and groom me to become a team leader and lead
projects. The accomplishment of the near term objectives will further facilitate my long term
goal to establish a technological firm in power sector suited to the emerging consumer market in
this domain. But working in my current organization I still lack some Finance, Marketing and
General Management foundations, which an MBA will enable me to develop. I believe an MBA
is the most structural way to learn how to build organizational values, culture and design
organizational structure and hierarchy. An MBA from a premier institute like FMS with qualified
and experienced faculty, excellent industry exposure and interface and a diverse peer group will
help me combine my innate abilities and industry experience with business knowledge to boost
my professional growth. I feel FMS can help me achieve it as it has an ideal environment
conducive to growth and development of my personality as a manager. It will provide me with
the invaluable industrial interface and equip me with the skills a manager must have. It will help
me in gaining practical insights into the modern problems of the corporate world. With its
exemplary placement records, state of the art infrastructure and expert faculty, it has developed
brand equity of its own and thus will help me achieve my dreams

By personal experience, I can recall a precarious incident of my life which happened last year
only. One of my office colleagues got infected with dengue very severely. Initially, before its
detection, he showed some symptoms such as skin rashes, joint and muscle pain, headaches and
feeling of nausea. I decide to live with him for 2-3 days to take care of him as he used to live
alone in New Delhi and he had no relatives or friend staying close to him. I took him to the
doctor where the doctor couldn’t identify the reason of his illness clearly, so he prescribed some
medicines. When we returned home, after half an hour his condition exacerbated and I realized
that calling an ambulance would be the best option.
On personal context, I can recall one such situation. Last year, One of my office colleagues got
infected with dengue very severely. He lived alone in Delhi ,so, I decided to take complete care
of him .When his condition exacerbated I got him hospitalized. There also ,I faced a lot of
problems regarding arrangement of blood on account of low blood platelet count of the patient.
So I and with the help of my friends and office colleagues donated blood as sufficient as possible
to save his life. We also arranged goat’s milk and giloy juice of Ramdev to help him recover
fast. Thus, I made all kinds of endeavors to help him survive such a deadly disease like dengue.
