Mild pancreatitis. Conservative management is imperative. Usually the patient could be discharged after
a week. Etiological treatment can avoid recurrences.
Severe pancreatitis. These patients must be admitted in Intensive Care because of high risk of miltiorga-
nic failure. Local complications as duodenal obstruction, portal thrombosis and pseudoaneurysm accura-
te a specific management. Liquid collections are treated depending on symptons, size, time of evolution
and the presence of necrosis.
