Discussion Proper

Edwin Santos called the meeting into order at exactly 5:46 in the afternoon.
The meeting started after a short prayer led by Marjorie Collado.
Ma. Zeycel Roxanne Dasig announced those who already have submitted their articles for the
magazine issue.
Edwin Santos asked when the remaining articles would be submitted. Ronnel Simbulan said that
his articles will be ready by Monday as well as Raniel Cabato and Lilybeth Palon.
The original deadline was then moved to September 10, Monday which was approved by all.
Edwin said that those who will not be able to beat the deadline will not be included in the
Editorial Board in the next issue.
Ma. Zeycel Roxanne Dasig then announced the list of events that will be held in the upcoming
weeks. Since many of the staffers are joining the YMCA Academic Olympics on September 25 at
NEUST Main Campus, they were required to pass a short narrative on their respective events as well as
the winners on each event. Ronnel Simbulan was then assigned to the Alay Lakad which will be held on
September 26 at the NFA Complex and will end at Freedom Park. Dexter Azarcon(not present) was
assigned to cover the Institute of Electonics and Comminications(IECEP) Quiz Show at Holy Angel
University on September 26, in which he is a participant. The correspondents are still in charge with the
news on their respective colleges.
The deadline for the submission of articles was stated to October 8.
Abigail Junia the announced that 9 staffers will be joining the upcoming Association of Tertiary
School Press Advisers of Region 3 to be held at Bataan, early November of this year. Edwin Santos said
that those who will perform better this issue will have the opportunity to be in the list of delegates and
everyone felt excited.
The meeting was concluded by a closing prayer by Lilybeth Palon. It ended 7:08 in the evening.
