Immersion is an event where there are many preparations that should be taken care of
especially that we invited some guests that could get a benefit from this activity. These
preparations were being handled by students who were separated to different committees to
achieve and to help this event to become successful.

We were then assigned as the food committee where we were the ones who took in
charge for the food of the guest speakers and for the community that we will be visiting. Before
buying, we first plan on what we will be going to give them considering the budget that the
budget committee gave us and the number of respondents that will be going to serve. Next we
discussed as a group on what are the possible food or snacks to be distributed. During the
discussion, we agreed to buy 8 clubhouse sandwiches and 8 mineral water from Seven Eleven
Claveria for the speakers and Kulian’s siopao for the lumad community. However due to
miscommunication, we were not able to reserved the siopaos from Kulian’s. Because of this, we
decided to have burgers from Minute Burger Obrero and Refresh drinks.

We bought 236 burgers which costs (Php) and 235 Refresh drinks which costs (Php). All
in all, there were 4 boxes of burgers and 24 boxes of drinks.
