LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited (LHB) is a joint venture of LafargeHolcim, a world leader in building materials and Cementos Molins, a
Spanish company with strong global presence. The company is producing clinker and cement of high premium quality. Since the beginning in
1997, LHB has contributed to millions of lives by providing durable, affordable and accessible building materials and solutions as well as by
undertaking initiatives for the betterment of the economy, society and environment.
Plant of LHB located at Chhatak, Sunamganj is the only fully integrated dry process cement plant in Bangladesh where high premium quality
clinker and cement are produced utilizing sophisticated and state-of-the-art machineries and processes. LHB sources its primary raw material
limestone from its own quarry in Meghalaya, India, which has one of the best quality limestone deposits in the world. This limestone is
brought to the Plant using a 17 km long conveyer belt. The Company’s ability to produce its own clinker under its strict quality supervision and
the presence of an international standard Quality Control and Monitoring Lab ensures the same consistent premium quality in each and every
bag.
We are also the industry benchmark in R&D and serve from the individual homebuilder to the largest and most complex project with the

DEPARTMENT: Marketing
Systematically monitor margins and prices on area, product & customer level
Provide margin reports on regular basis and/or in case of significant deviations from forecasts
Provide recommendation on price and margin improvement with proactive manner.
Proactive margin and price forecasting dynamic price roadmap
Search for margin optimization opportunities (pricing, volume planning, variable cost to serve) and challenge the relevant
organizations
Support strategic and tactical decisions in sales and volume planning
Owner of all critical pricing processes
Owner of all pricing initiatives from pricing pillar
Introduce discipline for systematic margin management with LHB commercial
Systematically ensure all pricing/discount/rebate process are aligned with Pricing Policy and Pricing SOP
Pricing Strategy
Develop accurate data gathering of channel margins and retail prices, in order to allow timely price adjustments
Develop accurate and timely price information system to support price development towards Premium category
Facilitate the evaluation of the company’s competitive position in regards to the pricing strategy and practice
Support price/discount/rebate approval process (as approval level or as input sources for verifying information)
Optimize LHB opportunity for value capturing through price premium in line with brand equity positioning
Owner of all pricing initiatives from pricing pillar (Collaborate with Regional and/or Global team)
Develop and review pricing policy
Develop module and train the Sales functions (Retail and B2B segment) on utilizing Pricing tool (e.g. QlikView and
Commercial Performance Monitor).
Requirements:
6 to 8 years working experience with 3 years in the managerial level associated with Market Intelligence & or Business
Development.
Commercial & or business development experience in a multinational organization
A good standard of the management skills, communication, responsibility, acceptability, leadership, decision-making,
