ABSTRACT
In this chapter we deal with heat transfer in the physicochemical laboratory of metallurgy, for this we use
three thermometers, a refractory brick, a constant source of heat and other tools to develop the experience
in optimal conditions.
The thermometers were found at different distances from the heat source, the furthest being the
thermometer number 2, which was found at a distance of 11.4 cm from the heat source (Height of the
refractory brick).
A record was taken of the different temperatures in each of the three thermometers used every 5 minutes
until reaching equilibrium.
