The following calculations are based on IEC - 865
1 BASIC PARAMETERS
a. System Voltage = 220 kV (As per Spec. Cl: S2.1.1)

b. Highest System Voltage = 245.0 kV

c. Short Circuit Rating = 40.0 kA (As per Spec. Cl: S2.1.1)

d. System Frequency = 50 Hz (As per Spec. Cl: S2.1.1)

e. Duration of Short Circuit current flow = 3 s (As per Spec. Cl: S2.1.1)

2 CONDUCTOR & ANCHORING DETAILS


a. Details of Main Conductor
(i) Type = T ACSR As per 220kV Switchyard plan

(ii) Number of sub-conductor per phase = 2 Nos. As per 220kV Switchyard plan

(iii) Mass per unit length of one subconductor = 2.566 kg/m As per Conductor details (Attached)
