PARENTS’ COMMITMENT FORM

As parents/guardians/responsible persons of a child at General Artemio Ricarte Senior

High School, we understand and agree:

1. That attending GARSHS is a privilege, and that we will therefore uphold the
Constitution and By-Laws of the Association and the mission and vision of the
school alongside with the mission and vision of the Department of Education.
2. Share concerns and complaints only with appropriate staff members and not with
our child or those outside of GARSHS.
3. To provide GARSHS with any information that will assist the school faculty and
staff in meeting the needs of our child.
4. To uphold the school’s academic standards by providing a place of study for our
child at home, by supervising homework as needed, and by encouraging the
timely completion of all assignments/requirements.
5. To be financially responsible for all the PTA projects, programs and activities as
agreed upon.
6. To honor our financial obligation to GARSHS/GARSHS PTA as agreed by the
majority of the members without any means of deviating it.
