Work Experience

1) Working as Instrumentation Engineer at Saurashtra Cement Ltd. – Hathi Cement (At: Ranavav,
Porbandar) since 20th Feb. 2017 to till date.

Company Profile:
1.3 MTPA Kiln with two string pre-calciner( ILC & SLC )
280TPH Capacity Vertical Roller Mill with hydraulic system
 Grinding
25MW Capacity Power Plant.
 Responsibility: Section In charge (Crusher, Crusher belt circuit, Stacker, Reclaimer)

 Perform daily inspections and supervise all instrumentation works. Acknowledge all problem reports
by the operation group.
 To make maximum availability of instruments for plant operation.
 Responsible for preventive maintenance & break down maintenance of field instruments.
 Involved in PLC logic changes as per requirement (CoDeSys, RS Logix 5 pro, RS Logix 500 & RS Logix
5000).
 Maintenance and calibration for weighbridge, weigh feeder, Gas analyzer, Loss In Weight (LIW),
Solid Flow Meter (SFM) & Dust Monitor (FM CODEL DCEM2100).
 Involved in Maintenance of Field Instruments like Motorized damper Actuators, Motorized Control
valves (BECK), Solenoid valve, RTD (3-Wire), Thermocouple (K-Type), Temperature Indicating
Controllers, Level Sensor(Vega), Solenoid valve, Proximity Switches, Pull cord switch, Pressure
transmitter, Dust Monitor, Belt Sway Switch, Proximity Switches, flow and level switches, etc.
 To maintain P & I drawings, Manuals, Termination detail of panel, Junction Boxes, Sub control panel
etc., in respective sections.
 Install a wireless Radio system (SureCross Performance DX80 Wireless I/O Networks) for stacker.
 Updating and maintain ISO records, to maintain records for daily activities.
 Prepare root cause analysis & action plan of every break down
 Replacement of material required for smooth running of plant. .
 Planning for shutdown works.
 To maintain spares, Raising Purchase Requisition, Inspection of received materials at stores.
 To indent material required for plant maintenance.

As Shift In charge- Instrumentation Engineer, maintenance and operation of a plan as well as

handled the following key tasks and activity-

 Coordinated shift handling as per operational requirements, preventive maintenance and

breakdown maintenance.
 Knowledge of Hydraulic system, GRLS (Grinding Roller Lubrication System), Reducer.
 Knowledge of HART 475 field communicator & BT200 Brain terminal.
 Knowledge of Hydraulic system (Vertical Roller Mill), GRLS (Grinding Roller Lubrication System) and
Reducer system.
 Checked and rectified Roto packer problems.
