BSC product ducumentation The SET GCSFILE command for base station
controllers determines the mode for generating
BSC product ducumentation MR- and CHR-related files. SET GCSFILE:
MODE=FIXED indicates that files will be
generated in a fixed size, for example, 10 MB per
BSC product ducumentation file. SET GCSFILE: MODE=CYCLE,
BSC product ducumentation CYCLE=XX indicates that files will be
generated in a fixed period.
BSC product ducumentation The precautions for using this command is as
follows:
BSC product ducumentation 1. In the mode for generating files in a fixed size,
if the traffic on base station controllers is light
and the call information file size does not reach
the fixed size in a long period of time, MR- and
CHR-related files cannot be generated during the
BSC product ducumentation time segment. As a result, Nastar cannot obtain
or analyze the MR- and CHR-related files in
BSC product ducumentation time, and the end-to-end delay for thematic
analysis such as VIP analysis and complaint
analysis such as VIP analysis and complaint
BSC product ducumentation analysis support is long.
2. In the mode for generating files in a fixed
BSC product ducumentation period, if the preset period is short (for example,
5 minute) and the traffic on base station
BSC product ducumentation controllers
NA is heavy, a large number of call

The SET UCDRFILE command for base

station controllers determines the mode for
generating MR- and CHR-related files. SET
UCDRFILE: MODE=FIXED indicates that
files will be generated in a fixed size, for
example, 10 MB per file. SET UCDRFILE:
MODE=CYCLE, CYCLE=XX indicates that
files will be generated in a fixed period.
The precautions for using this command is as
follows:
1. In the mode for generating files in a fixed
size, if the traffic on base station controllers
is light and the call information file size does
not reach the fixed size in a long period of
time, MR- and CHR-related files cannot be
generated during the time segment. As a
result, Nastar cannot obtain or analyze the
MR- and CHR-related files in time, and the
end-to-end delay for thematic analysis such
as VIP analysis and complaint analysis
support is long.
2. In the mode for generating files in a fixed
period, if the preset period is short (for
example, 5 minute) and the traffic on base
station controllers is heavy, a large number of
call information files will be generated in a
short period of time. As a result, the SAU in
NA occupies a large amount of memory to
Nastar
process data files, and SAU performance
deteriorates.
Therefore, the mode for generating files in a
fixed size is recommended in most scenarios.
NA
However, the mode for generating files in a
NA
fixed and appropriate period (10 to 30
NA
minutes) is recommended in scenarios for
guaranteeing VIP and compliant subscribers'
efficiency.
NA
Currently, Nastar adopts the mode for
generating files in a fixed size (10 MB per
file) by default.

1. Method 1: Set SET URRCTRLSWITCH:

PROCESSSWITCH2=RNC_CS_QUERY_U
E_IMEI_SWITCH to 1 to turn on the IMEI
reporting switch. When the switch is turned
on, the RNC simulates the function of the CN
to deliver Identity Request messages to
obtain the IMEI of the UE.
Note: The RNC simulates the function of the
CN to deliver Identity Request messages. If
the IMEI reporting switch is turned on when
the CN checks the direct transmission
message SN, the SN maintained on the CN is
different from that maintained on the UE. As
a result, the CS service setup fails. Therefore,
you are not advised to turn on the switch.
Before turning on the switch, perform the
interconnection test between the CN and the
wireless side. If the CN needs to check the
direct transmission message SN, turn on
SEND_MSG_NULL_SWITCH in SET
URRCTRLSWITCH of the SET
URRCTRLSWITCH.
