0 Introduction
There are multinational companies, which have used many intelligent strategies that help them to

establish in other countries successfully. In this report it was recommended to conduct research and

study a local business that can be marketed in India and Canada fruitful, and think in some

strategies that can be applied to reach those goals. This investigation was based on the topics

learned during the semester in business.

It was chosen the company “Bottler Aga”, which it was founded in Jalisco, Mexico in 1948. It is

dedicated to the manufacture and sale of soft drinks, committed to the satisfaction of their

consumers. They offer 17 different products including sodas and purified water with a variety of

flavors and presentations. Their most known brand is “Sidral Aga” which is an apple soda, known

and recognized by its unique flavor and their high quality process that involves the use natural

ingredients. This brand was chosen because it is a typical and easy- to- find drink that represents the

Mexican traditions and flavors.

“Sidral Aga” can effectively be marketed in countries such as India and Canada because; it is a

brand that cares about the needs of their consumers and their budget.

2.0 Methods

As it was mentioned before, it has done a research about both countries, recollecting a whole range

of information that shows the political, economic, socio-cultural, and technological aspects

conducted in a PEST analysis. All this information was reunited from trustable and recommendable

web pages that provide the necessary data to complete the PEST analysis.

For the brand that was chosen to market in those countries were used internet web pages as well. On

the “Aga” official webpage there´s a space where they briefly explain their general commitment, in

other words their vision, mission and the compromise that they have with the environmental and
consumer protection. They also show how their factories work and the manufacturing of the

products, showing the grade of hygiene used on every factory and packaging center. To reach a real

idea of how a local brand overseas it was taken two interviews to some experts that already

experienced this case scenario.

3.0 Findings

In the Canada PEST analysis it is shown that they adopt a market oriented economic system

combines private enterprise with government regulation, achieving an open to global commerce

economy. In the2010 it was recorded that the unemployment rate was 7.99 percent, its labor force

comprised of 18.59 million people. In the political factor, Canada has a stable government who is

responsible for trade with other countries, this country, has the tenth position in the 10 top trading

countries and an active member of G8 and the OECD. As a multicultural country French and

English is being spoke, there is a significant percent of Catholics and Protestants, and the green-

minded ideals are were settled in the society. A Canadian consumer looks more closely at the

quality, origin, composition and price of products, and cares about the way natural resources have to

be treated. In terms of technology they manufacture and aerospace industries

Canadian consumer profile: Consumers look more closely at the quality, origin, composition and

price of products. Canadians care about their food and do not hesitate to buy natural, organic

health foods. Generally, Canadians are very concerned about their personal comfort and well-

being.

Indian conuemer profile: it is necessary to invest in advertising and marketing to promote one's

product. consumers still tend to prioritise the incremental value offered by a brand rather than

the brand's reputation alone. Indian shoppers tend to buy fresh produce (dairy products, fruits

and vegetables) no more than every two to three days, a factor which benefits traditional

'kirana' shops over modern grocery outlets.
