Vibration Analysis of an Euler Bernoulli Beam Term Project October, 2016-Nov, 2016
•Analyzed a beam fixed at both ends with a step in between and the characteristics matrix was derived based on its boundary conditions
•Solved differential equation and established an 8X8 matrix using MATLAB to obtain mode shapes and frequency response of beam
•Evaluated and compared the results by keeping location of the step chosen as a parameter and to be given by user every time
•Accuracy of 80% was achieved when the evaluated results were compared with Finite Element Analysis technique
Recommendation System in e-Business Term Project August, 2017-Nov, 2017
•Developed a music recommendation system using item based collaborative filtering (also item-to-item filtering) algorithm
•Solved the problem of sparse matrix using SVD (Singular Value Decomposition), a dimensionality reduction technique
•Optimized the number of clusters and threshold value by comparing the results with the average value of precision

•Built a neural network model to compare its efficiency with pre-existing algorithm for supervised learning (Logistic Regression)
