ABSTRACT

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF NURSING CARE STANDARD AND THE


SATISFACTION OF PATIENTS OF SOCIAL INSURANCE AGENCY
(BPJS) IN INPATIENTS ROOM OF DISTRICT HOSPITAL
OF NORTH LOMBOK IN 2017

Nursing care standard is a norm of quality of a nurse


work which is considered good, appropriate, and right
according to the guideline provided by nursing care. District
Hospital of North Lombok is type C hospital to which patients
were refrred to. The nursing care that often complained in
the Hospital is the obedience to the standard operational
procedure of nursing care during the service for patients
which often not satisfying. Based on preliminary data from
the registered data of general patients, BPJS patients, and
Social Assistance patients in January to March 2017, 214
inpatient patients were covered by BPJS, 73 (36%) of whom
were in January, 71 (33%) in February, and 70 (31%) in March.
This research is aimed at datermining the implementation of
nursing care standard and the satisfaction of patients of
social insurance agency (BPJS) in inpatients room of District
Hospital Of North Lombaok.
This research is observational analytic study with
cross-sectional approach. The populational were all 452
inpatient patients and 102 nurses. The samples were all 212
patients of District Hospital Of North Lombok that were able
to read and covered by BPJS, and 25 nurses. The semples were
slected through random sampling technique. The date were
collected through qustionnaires and observatione and then
were analyzed with Spearman rank.
The research showed that there is no correlation between
implementation of nursing care standard and the satisfaction
of patients of social insurance agency (BPJS) in inpatients
room of District Hospital Of North Lombok. The p-value (0.199)
> 0.02 which means that H0 is rejected.
It is inferred that if nursing care in inpatient room
of District Hospital Of North Lombok meet the standard, the
patients will be satisfied.
