Anxiety is one of the unpleasant circumstances where age play an important role in affecting anxiety, because the young person's age, the trend increasing anxiety in the face of the problems encountered. Therefore, children often feel guilt, fear, and anxiety. Anxiety in children who are admitted (hospitalization) is influenced by many factors, both factors of the officers (nurses, physicians, and other health care personnel), and the new environment, because basically every orphanage in children who are hospitalized requiring the involvement of parents. The purpose of this research is to know the relation the role of parents with preschool children's anxiety level when hospitalization. The research method used is correlation analytic approach to crooss sectional. The sample in this research totaled 70 respondents. The data obtained through questionnaires. Statistical tests are used namely “Chi Square”. The results of statistical tests on a significant level of 0.003 (p < 0.05), indicating there is a meaningful relationship between the role of parents with preschool children's anxiety level when hospitalization. You can conclude that there is a relationship role of parents with preschool children's anxiety level when hospitalization.
