Abstract

The paper will be identifying the level of verbal linguistics intelligence of the college of
education students. Likewise, the research will identify the students level of communication
skills and find out the nexus between verbal linguistics intelligence and communication skills.
The population of the college of education is 2,392 the researcher will consider 20% or about
478 as her target respondents. The respondents will be taken through random sampling.
Respondents will likewise come from across discipline from all programs of the college of
education (BSED,BEED and BTTE) More particularly 3rd year students and the study will be
conducted in the second semester of 2017-2018. The research made use of descript Quantitative
Research using Descriptive Correlational Method will be the research design and the self made
questionnaire that is duly validated by expert will be the main tool in data gathering. The
researcher will also subject the research questionnaire to validity and reliability test prior to
distribution to respondents. To gauge the level of verbal linguistics intelligence and the
communication skills, a Likert Scale of 5 will be used.
