프레젠테이션을 시작할 때 발표하게 되어 기쁘다는 인사를 하는 것이 가장 일반적인데, I’m

delighted to ~, It is a great honor and pleasure to ~, I am honored to have the
opportunity to ~, I am greatly honored yet deeply humbled to ~ 등의 표현이 있다.
앞서 누군가가 자신을 소개해줬을 경우엔 Thank you for the wonderful introduction,
chairman Kim. 참석해준 것에 대해 감사를 표할 때는 Thank you for taking time off your
busy schedule to be here with us today. 라 할 수 있다.

Good afternoon. I’m delighted to introduce our new line of products today.
안녕하십니까. 오늘 우리의 신제품을 소개하게 되어 기쁩니다.
Good afternoon. I’m delighted to speak in front of such distinguished guests.
안녕하십니까. 이렇게 귀빈 여러분 앞에서 연설하게 되어 기쁩니다.
Good afternoon. I’m delighted to give the opening address today.
안녕하십니까. 오늘 개회연설을 하게 되어 기쁩니다.
Good afternoon. I’m delighted to talk about increasing our profits today.
안녕하십니까. 오늘 우리의 수익증진에 대해 이야기하게 되어 기쁩니다.

2. My name is~ I’m in charge of~

프레젠테이션의 도입부에서 자신을 소개할 때 쓰는 I’m in charge of~를 사용한다. I’m in

charge of 뒤엔 the marketing department, finance, XYZ project 등 자신이 속해 있는 부
서나 직무를 말할 수 있다. I’m in charge of ~와 같은 뜻으로 I’m responsible for ~란 표현
도 자주 사용된다. 어디에 근무하고 있는지를 말할 땐 I work for S Inc.(주식회사 S에 근무
합니다.) , 직책(직위)이 무엇인지를 밝히고자 할 땐 간단히 I’m the Marketing manager for
S Inc.(저는 주식회사 S의 영업부장입니다.)라고 표현한다.

My name is John Walters, and I’m in charge of product design.

제 이름은 John Walters이며, 제품디자인을 담당하고 있습니다.
My name is Kelly Harris, and I’m in charge of the overseas marketing department.
제 이름은 Kelly Harris이며, 해외마케팅부를 담당하고 있습니다.
My name is David Kim, and I’m in charge of running this exhibition.
