Students will watch the video clip about Childs life in Africa.
After the task, students will answer the following word inside the diverging radial about

1.1 The teacher will present the African poem entitled “ I am an African Child”

2.2. Students will answer the following questions wherein the teacher will call someone in class
to answer the first question and then the student who has answered it will call one of
his/her classmates to answer the second question, and so on and so forth.
1. What do you think the speaker wants to say about the first stanza?
2. What can you say about the second stanza?
3. In the third stanza, what we can see?
4. How about the fourth stanza?
5. What about in this fifth stanza?
6. The sixth and the last stanza?

3. Abstraction
The significance of this poem is to be proud of who you are and what you are. Preserve
the culture and wisdom of the elders have striven to have, and also respect your fellowmen and take
good care in our nature and environment.
4. Application
Divide the class into four (4) groups and they are present the poem orally and this is the rubric
on how will you be graded.
