Background: inertia uterine his strength is adequate to perform the opening of
the cervix or push the fetus out, causing labor will last long and pose a danger to both the mother and fetus(Prawirohardjo, 2014). Based on data obtained in the maternity ward Regional General Hospital Of Baubau City, showed an increased incidence of uterine inertia from 2015 until the year 2017. Purpose : To carry out the management of midwifery care at birth mothers with inertia uterine in the Regional General Hospital Of Baubau City, in June 2018 in accordance with the 7 steps Varney and SOAP. Research methods :This study uses an observational study design with case study approach to the application of Midwifery Care Management Seven Steps Varney and advanced care in the form of SOAP. The subjects were women giving birth with uterine inertia in the Regional General Hospital Of Baubau City. Time dilaksanakn case study on dated July 5, 2018. Data were collected using primary and secondary data, as well as tools and materials required and data collection through interviews, physical examination, observation, literature study and documentation. Namely data analysis with data reduction, data presentation and draw conclusions. Results: Of midwifery care given to Mrs. "S" after induction with oxytocin get his results became inadequate and the advancement of cervical dilatation and fetal head reduction. Complete opening at 10.30 pm, the baby was born spontaneously cried at 10:50 pm, the placenta was born at 11:00 pm and perlangsungan stage IV normal, KU and TTV good mother, not bleeding, uterine contractions well, the mother and the baby home on July 7, 2018. Conclusion: In the discussion of theory and and practices that the author did on maternal Mrs. "S" with uterine inertia there is no gap between theory and practice for care provided in accordance with procedures and good cooperation between patients and health workers, so that labor goes smoothly, the mother and the baby is in good condition.
