FooBu (Food Bus)

FooBu is a service that provides transportation from San Jose del Monte,Bulacan to
Alabang, Muntinlupa while providing snacks and beverages to the commuters to satisfy
their hunger and cravings . It provides healthy and delicious food such as burgers,
pastas, toasted bread, mini pizza, coffee, milktea, frappe, fruit shake and many more.

Forecast

1. Demand

FooBu mainly targets commuters, particularly students that are commuting


from Alabang, Muntinlupa to San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. We seek to
offer food services and transportation to the commuters to accommodate
their hunger while on trip. We will be primarily transporting passengers
using a bus, with a kitchen set at the back to provide snacks such as
burgers, pastas, toasted bread, mini pizza, coffee, milktea, frappe, fruit
shake, and more.

We’ve asked one-hundred (100) commuters (primarily students) travelling


from and to Alabang and SJDM using bus as their primary transportation
vehicle. Ninety-five (95) of them positively replied that they want to try
riding in the FooBu, and to experience food trip literally.

2. Prices

The transportation service will have a price varying from Php12 to Php386
(which is the maximum) depending on the distance travelled from the
terminal points. (Alabang and San Jose del Monte)

3. Suppliers

We will acquire the buses that will be used for FooBu from HIGER, the
leading bus manufacturer in China that expanded its business in the
Philippines.
We can also locate second-hand buses that can be fixed to achieve the
objectives of the FooBu service.

We can purchase the ingredients we’re using for the food service in the
different supermarkets in the Phlippines. As the supermarkets compete
with each other, it will be an advantage to us because it can lower the
costs that’ll be occurring when purchasing the said ingredients.

Process in registering our business

1. Get a certificate of registration for our business name from Securities and
Exchange Commission.
2. Obtain a Business Insurance
3. Get the other necessary requirements in acquiring a business permit (Mayor’s
permit).
4. Apply for a business taxpayer identification number (TIN), register your books of
accounts, point-of-sales (POS) machines and receipts from the Bureau of
Internal Revenue.
5. Register the business to the Department of Labor and Employment.
6. Apply for route franchise at LTFRB.
7. Register the employees to the following agencies: SSS, PAG-IBIG, and
PhilHealth.

The consideration of our business:


1. We will be a partnership in this business.
2. The capital that will be used will be contributions from the founders of FooBu
business.
