Black Chook wine cocktail

a grand success in Nadi!
Close to a hundred invited guests witnessed one of the best wine cock-
tails to have taken place in recent times.
Organised by Motibhai Group’s hospitality team at the popular ZigZag
Café which is located within the Prouds Nadi complex, the special wine
cocktail with Black Chook wines of South Australia was well appreciated
by guests who came out in numbers to meet winemaker Alexia Roberts.
Being the very few female winemakers to emerge from the massive Aus-
tralian wine industry, it did not take Alexia very long to impress guests with
her vast wine knowledge and great tasting wines from Black Chook.
While Black Chook is a relatively new wine brand under the Motibhai
Group stable of world renowned and award winning wines, the company
listed this popular Australian brand only an-year-ago and it all started with
the visit of the wine company owner Tony Parkinson.
“It is very encouraging to note that in a short time of one year, we have
established ourselves as a trusted and adored brand in Fiji,” Ms Roberts
said. Black Chook winemaker Alexia Roberts is flanked by Motibhai

New food court set for Suva Central
Visitors and residents of Suva who frequent the central business district of the capital
city will soon be able to experience something new at Suva Central.
The iconic landmark complex which is a joint venture between Motibhai Group and
Bank South Pacific (BSP) will soon offer a state-of-the-art food court which will feature
various popular eateries providing a large range and variety for patrons.
“We have added a new dimension to this landmark complex which was developed in the
new millennium and opened up for business in 2005,” Motibhai Group director and Suva
Central board member Rajesh Patel said.
He said the complex is a testimony to a proud, towering symbol of Fiji’s can do attitude.
BSP head of marketing Nirdesh Singh said the food court is all ready to open for busi-
ness soon featuring various popular eatery brands and will be a great option for family and
friends to meet up and enjoy the great facilities with tasty food and beverages on offer.
“We believe this was the only missing element in this complex which is obviously the
first of its kind in the city,” Mr Singh said.
The 12-storey aesthetically designed structure that is no less imposing than any building
in the world’s great metropolitan cities houses Prouds’ flagship store, bringing to Suva one
of its best shopping environments.
The building also houses a multi-storeyed parking area and shopping mall besides of-
fices and serviced apartments bringing all the amenities of a modern city living.
Suva Central which is a towering example of Fiji’s “Can
Do” attitude will soon have a food court for everyone to
enjoy.
