1. It is hard for me to concentrate during exams if I’m in a noisy environment.

2. My ideal solution would be I would like take my exam in a more quite environment where I can’t be

distracted.

3. But if my ideal solution isn’t possible then I would like to sit far away from my peers that is creating

the noise and try to do or think of something that will help me focus in the exam.

4. I come up with some helpful techniques like breathing techniques and thinking something positive

before taking the exam in that way it helps me concentrate whenever I’m in a noisy environment. And

ever since I’ve been using those techniques and it helps me a lot.

5. Standing up for myself feels good and natural for me because when I was a kid I was taught to fight

for something that is right and will also help other people. I remember when me and my friends was

struggling to focus in our Math class because one of our classmate is making unnecessary noise and

my other classmates were starting to say bad things to him after the class, and I call out the attention

of our teacher privately and ask her to like talk to the student. I just felt that it is the right thing to do

at the moment.

6. Being a creator is more fulfilling than being a victim. I believe that whatever you send in life comes

back. So if you’re always complaining about your day or life then you’re attracting bad things to come,

but if you’re more grateful and see things more positively then expect for much more happier and

peaceful life.

9. I believe that it is me that has the authority to make changes in regards with my situation. It is because

there are a lot of times that things will not be the way I wanted it to be, but it is up to me how I will

see things and reverse the situation in a good way. As to my problem I believe that teachers are doing

their best to cater their students but I also understand that they have more things to do and they also

need to rest, and that’s the time that should I step up and help myself to seek a solution for my problem,

and asking for an advice from my family and friends is also a great way to solve every problem in life.
Efficient Self-Advocacy

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.
(Dr. Seuss, 1971)

To self-advocate more efficiently I should speak for what I believe, learn more about my rights

and responsibilities and try to reach out others for help. To implement my advocacy efficiently I must

speak for what I believe, no one knows me better rather than myself, and I believe that you’ll never

be wrong in fighting for what you know is right for you and for others. Sometimes there instances that

other people may disagree and hates on me, but all I need to do is to be firm and speak up for myself

and for others as well. I’ll never know what or how changes would done unless I address it and fight

for it. Having that sense of self-advocacy has its great effects in my life and other’s life. And knowing

my rights and responsibility as person is also a great help to self-advocate more efficiently. Having a

knowledge about your rights will help me make accurate decisions and be confident on what I’m

fighting for. And also knowing my responsibilities will guide me on the things that I should and should

not do. And it is also a great support to justify what I’m fighting for. And reaching out for others when

I’m in need of help is really great resource to have a sustainable self-advocacy. Nowadays there are a

lot of organization and individual that offers help to different problems that a person is encountering.

It is a great idea to utilize this help and make most out it and with the technology of today, it is really

easy to have an access for help. Therefore I conclude to have an efficient self-advocacy a person must

believe to what it is fighting for and they should know their rights and responsibilities in order to

validate what they’re advocating for, and having that help from other is a great opportunity to make

things organize and be well-supported for what they truly need.
