This is a modern way to easily charge any electrical device. The circuit is designed to charge any
rechargeable cell types that can be found in a electronic device power bank that is geared by a dc
motor, The lithium ion cells the electrical charge came from the main supply while the stored charge is
the one who is charging the device. In mechanical mode a tool used to rotate the dc motor generate
enough power. This technique is very adaptable due to the power that is being generated by human and
also from the main supply of the electricity that charge electrical devices.

Most of the people used mobile phones to stay connected. Due to rapidly growing technology with high
processors and large screens. Its power correspondingly increasing at the same time, at the same time some
mobile devices batteries don’t grow as fast as its processors. However there is a need to charge are batteries
everytime , when travelling people are suffer from battery shortage. Our paper purpose on the said problem
utilizes mechanical based charger. Mechanical hand crank is use to utilize mechanical energy. It converts
mechanical to electrical energy and charge your mobile phones. This doesn’t require any electrical energy
consumption. By doing this it helps human to know the importance of mobile phone usage. It also helps them
to exert effort for them to charge their batteries. We use dc motors for the transformation of mechanical
energy from the hand crank to the batteries.

“Mechanical and Electrical mobile charger”
This propose a new type of electrical and mechanical charger for mobiles. This new type of charging mobile
devices help us when we travel from one play to another. It works with the combination of human power and
electrical power for each mobile to charge. Any form of this said power helps charge our mobile devices when
needed. This new type of mobile charger is somehow close to the regular charger but their difference is the
usage if human power that the help of dc motors to produce electricity. It is more better than the regular
charger due to the use of human power also known as mechanical energy to charge the mobile devices.

ABSTRACT
This paper, proposes a novel type of mechanical and electrical mobile charger has been designed. A new type of mobile charger
has been designed to charge the mobile phone while traveling from one place to another place. It is a combination of 3 mobile
chargers which works using wind power, human power and electrical power. Any one of these power sources can be used to
charge the mobile phone based on the need. This kind of mobile charger is similar to normal chargers but it can be used to charge
while travelling using wind turbines and can be used for instant charging using Geared DC Generator. This mobile charger is
better than normal mobile charger as it uses renewable energy source such as wind power and human power.
Keywords - Geared DC Generator, mechanical, electrical, mobile phone, wind turbines.

I. INTRODUCTION
Mobile phone plays an important role in communication. The growth of mobile phone market is phenomenal in recent years
and the need for charging the mobile battery is required anytime and anywhere. It becomes very difficult to charge the
mobile phone while travelling from one place to another and when current supply is not available while in the home, office
etc. This paper targets on the transformation of mechanical energy into electrical energy to charge the mobile phone using
DC Generator. Wind powered mobile charger [1] converts wind energy into electrical energy using wind turbines. The
generation of current increases as the speed of the vehicle increases. In human powered mobile charger connecting it to,
current is obtained by rotating the wheel of geared DC Generator [2]. This kind of mobile charger is used when the power
supply is not available at home or office etc. Consistent 5 volts is obtained by a 7805 IC. Different mobiles such as
Samsung, Nokia, LG, Micromax, HTC, Black Berry can be charged by using this charger. By this concept we can charge
the mobile at any time by using Human powered mobile charger, while travelling using wind powered mobile charger [1].
When the power is available mobile can be charged using 220 V supply using Electrical charger. We can choose power
source for mobile charger based on our need. If we want to charge the mobile using wind energy we can disconnect and
remove other power sources.

Prototype Mechanical Battery Charger Abstract This research entitled, “Prototype Mechanical Battery
Charger”, aims to produce an efficient mechanical energy. This charger recharges AA battery using the
inputted mechanical energy and converts this energy to electrical energy. This research aims to conserve
and avoid the excessive use of electrical energy. This research aims to conserve and avoid the excessive
use of electrical energy. In this study, the researchers recharged AA battery by the use of electrical energy
converted by the generator inside. The researchers utilized mechanical energy, the energy all people are
capable of producing.
The researches tested the mechanical battery charge by measuring the voltage produced by the
mechanical battery charger using voltmeter. Then observed data were compared to a commercial battery
charger.
Based on the statistical significance test, the outcome showed that though this mechanical battery charger
is not comparable to a commercial battery charger, there is a little difference to their efficiencies and the
time required for them to fully recharge a battery. Statement of the Problem This research seeks to answer
the following queries: 1. How effective is the prototype mechanical battery charger?
a. How much mechanical energy (in terms of the number of press) is being converted to chemical energy
(voltage)?
2. Is there any significant difference between the mechanical and the electrical energy? Methodology The
researchers used the experimental method of research in performing the study entitled Prototype
Mechanical Battery Charger. Experimental research is an attempt by the researcher to maintain control
over all factors that may affect the result of an experiment. In doing this, the researchers attempt to
determine or predict what may occur. Experimental research was used in order to calculate "correlations"
between variables, specifically, those manipulated and those affected by the manipulation qualitatively.
The researchers went through different steps in performing the research study. (1) Preparing the materials
needed in making the hand-powered charger (2) Assembling the parts together (3) Measuring the voltage
output of the charger (4) Gathering and analysis of data.
The researchers first made a generator from a coiled copper wire into a magnet. The copper wire was then
soldered in the circuit board. Other copper wires were connected to the terminals and soldered to the
circuit board. For lighting the small bulb, the circuit board, magnet, terminals and the gears were then
placed in their position. Lastly, the geared crank was placed n position. The researchers measured the
voltage output of the charger using voltmeter. These data were collected, tabulated and analyzed.
Results Graph 1 Comparison between the Commercially Available Battery Charger and the Experimental
Battery Charger in terms of Amount of Voltage stored. Graph 1 Comparison between the Commercially
Available Battery Charger and the Experimental Battery Charger in terms of Amount of Voltage stored.
Graph 2 Comparison between the Commercially Available Battery Charger and the Experimental Battery
Charger in terms of length of time the battery lasts. Conclusion There is no significant difference between
the mechanical and electrical battery

charger in terms of their efficiency. The device produced throughout the research is functional. The hand-
powered battery charger was able to convert mechanical to electrical energy and produce a voltage that is
enough in charging an AA battery. Recommendation This study is recommended to
