Experiment no: 04- Centrifugal Pump
Q.1 (35 Points) Perform the Experiment for the Centrifugal pump, based on Performed
experiment:
a) (15 points) Plot the graphs for the head developed for the parallel and series combination of Pumps
with one sample calculation for both configuration and discuss briefly the results obtained. Fit the
data obtained with appropriate equation for the head developed in both the configuration of pumps.
b) (10 points) Perform also the error analysis for both the cases .
b) (10 points) Plot the graph of Flow rate Vs RPM for both the individual single stage configuration of
pumps alon with the suitable equations obtained for individual pumps.
Q.2 (0.5 points) Write bernouli equation for the following configuration of flow between points 1 &
2 . Pressure head developed by pump 1 and 2 are △h1 and △h2. Velocity at point 1 is V1.
