Dr Adedayo OSHOLOWU, CEO and Chairman of the Board,

AJALA TRAVEL COMPANY
Dr Dayo Osholowu is currently the Chairman and CEO of The
Ajala Travel Company. Since founding Ajala in April 2008,
Dayo has executed a number of initiatives that have focused
the organization on growth, performance and operational efficiency. He
is currently directing a strategic effort to bring the àjàláTM brand to tele-
vision, highlighted by a proposal to build a multi-platform Pay-TV joint
venture: The Ajala TV Network - a premium thematic travel and tourism
lifestyle channel targeted at over 30 million African “arm chair travelers”
set to launch in June 2010. This proposal for the Ajala TV Network was
selected in February 2010 by Africa Investor Magazine as one of the 10
most promising bankable tourism projects in Africa. Dayo has held sev-
eral executive leadership positions in Africa including roles with the FIFA
2010 South Africa World Cup TM Organizing Committee Medical Team
and as one of the Director’s of the Special Olympics International Healthy
Athletes TM Healthy Athletes TM Program in Africa since 2008. He was
honored in 2009 with the Nigerian Young Professional of the Year award
and was in 2010 again nominated for this award and formally recognized
by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Jonathan Goodluck.
Dayo has taken a break from his medical career to realize the potentials
of the ajala brand in the television industry in Africa. He is a columnist
for BuisnessDay: Nigeria’s most influential business paper and a Visiting
Lecturer at the University of Lagos Nigeria.

AJALA TRAVEL COMPANY:

The Ajala Travel Company began business in 2008 as a tour operation
brand in the Nigerian market trading as the Ajala Travel Agency. During
our first year of operation we acquired copyrights to the ajala name and
the àjàlá trademark and began developing our media franchise. We were
selected as one of the most promising African Tourism projects and invited
to present our venture at the 2010 African Investor Tourism Summit held
in Harare Zimbabwe. In the summer of 2011 we will launch Ajala TV a
premium thematic travel and tourism related Pay-TV channel for the
African market. Today The Ajala Travel Company is a Travel and Tourism
media franchise: It is an intellectual property company that owns the ajala
character, setting (music, montage, and surroundings) and trademarks of
our original work of media such as our logo, name and brand literature.
