Enrollment Notes:

This is a 2 day level 1 course. A DL389 is not issued for this class Please note the PPE requirements for
this class: Long sleeved shirt or jacket Long, non-flared durable pants without any rips or holes. Sturdy over
the ankle footwear Shatter resistant eye protection The following items are provided for those using our
training bikes. For those using your own bikes you will need to provided your own helmet and gloves. DOT
compliant helmet Full-fingered gloves There are 5 training bikes for this class. If you did not request a
training bike or there were none left open at the time of registration you ARE EXPECTED TO USE YOUR
OWN BIKE. If using your own bike, please have your registration and proof of insurance in addition to
drivers license and military ID. To cancel: contact your MSR, local safety office or dis enroll through
navymotorcyclerider.com 24 hr. prior notification is required to un enroll or you will be marked absent. For a
Monday class you must un enroll NLT 0730 on Friday. All classes must have a minimum of 4 students
enrolled 24 hrs. prior to the class start time or the class will be cancelled. Active duty training takes
precedence. If you are a retiree, Navy or DoD civilian, or dependent you may be bumped from the class if
an active duty student shows up. Wait list will be taken in order of sign up on ESAMS. Walk-ins will be taken
in order of arrival, if space is available. Directions: You never know which gate is going to be operational!!!
From the Westminster Ave gate: follow the road (Kitts Hwy) almost to the very end, turn (R) when you see a
large open bay of cranes and fork lifts (there is NO street sign), follow the road until in ends at the forklift
training site. From the Seal Beach Blvd gate: Go straight, turn ( R ) on Kitts Hwy at the T-intersection, turn

Enrollment Requirements:

This course is designed for beginning operators of cruiser and sport type motorcycles or those individuals
interested in purchasing a motorcycle. The training requires the use of a motorcycle. If you do not have a
motorcycle you may utilize a training motorcycle from the class if available. There are a limited number of
training motorcycles at each class location and if available, you will be able to reserve one later in the
enrollment process. Also, you must register for the class and have supervisor / command approval to
attend.
