Read the passage below and answer the questions that follow.
Baca petikan di bawah dan jawab soalan- soalan yang berikutnya.

It was the only male buffalo in the village. Pak Kanang took good care of it every day. He
would feed it twice a day and also took it to the river to bathe it once in a while. What he didn’t
realise was that one of the villagers, Kudin was thinking of taking the buffalo for himself. Even
though he already had several buffaloes, all of them were female.
One morning, Pak Kanang found his only buffalo missing. So he went all over the village to
look for it. After searching tirelessly, he finally found it tied up behind Kudin’s house. He
immediately called the younger man to settle the matter but instead, Kudin insisted that the buffalo
belonged to him.
After failing to prove that the buffalo was his, Kudin suggested that they sacrificed the
animal and split the meat between them. Upon hearing this, Pak Kanang knew for certain that the
buffalo really belonged to him. It was Kudin’s buffalo, why would he suggest that they share the
beast?
